- Lukewarm water, pet-safe shampoo (never human shampoo).
- Rinse twice—residue = itch.
- Pat dry first, then cool or warm (not hot) airflow; keep dryer moving.
- Comb out while drying to prevent post-bath mats.
- Finish check: nails, paw pads, eyes, ears, tail area.
